Carrageenan E407 is obtained from seaweed Class Rodophyceae.
Application: Gelling properties and water binding is used for the production of non-sugar jams, jellies and meat preparations. In contrast, stabilizing properties are used in products such as ketchup, beverages, dairy products and milk-like. It is also used in the manufacture of low-calorie foods.
