BioGaia Gastrus chewing tablets with the taste of mandarinis a new and safe probiotic supplement. It supports the maintenance of the proper microflora of the gastrointestinal tract and supports immunity.
BioGaia Gastrus is a combination of the well-researched probiotic strain Lactobacillus reuteri 17938 (Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis) and the anti-inflammatory strain Lactobacillus reuteri ATCC PTA 6475. It contains 200 million CFU of live bacteria. The mandarin flavoured tablet can be chewed, swallowed or allowed to melt in the mouth.
What are probiotics?
Probiotics are dietary supplements, like vitamins and minerals. The word probiotic means ”for life” as opposed to antibiotic which means ”against life”.
WHO defines probiotics as live microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host.
Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is BioGaia’s own patented probiotic bacteria. Because Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis naturally occurs in the human body it is uniquely adapted to reside in humans. With its exceptional and documented health benefits in several areas, Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is considered a truly superior probiotic bacterium.
1 tablet contains a minimum of 2 x 10 to 8μ.(200 million) live bacteria L. reuteri Gastrotus.
Directions for use:
It is recommended to use 1 chewable tablet once a day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Important information:
Ingestion in excessive amounts may have a laxative effect.
The product should be stored in a dry place at room temperature and inaccessible to small children.
